Roles and Responsibilities:
- Verify non-immigrant visa documents primarily in the categories of H-1B, TN, L1, OPT/CPT, EADs, GC.
- Review documents to ensure compliance with DHS, DOL, DOS, and DOE laws/regulations.
- Coordinate/Follow-up with outside counsel for timely filing of Visa’s and GC with the DOL and USCIS.
- Communicate and co-ordinate with employees for document collections and resolve their concerns.
- Responsible for record keeping and tracking of visa information and PAF’s in the system.
- Partner with accounts team to ensure immigration status is tracked within HR system to ensure accurate reporting and taxes.
- Lead both immigration and accounts HR teams.
- Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
- Mentor junior HR resources
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience working with US Staffing companies in HR roles.
- Requires excellent customer service skills, in addition to organization, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
